At The Heart

At the heart of the theatrical scene pulses Kan YaMa Kan Center - A greenhouse where talents flourish free from the constraints of the outside world. Since 2009, we believe every person has a story worth telling and a talent waiting to be discovered. In our safe space, masks fall away, and spirits are liberated; where we create more than just actors - we nurture a generation of creators who leave their mark on local theater history.

Aseem Zoabi

Aseem Zoabi, a distinguished graduate of Beit Zvi, is more than just the artistic director of Kan YaMa Kan. In 2009, he left behind the spotlight and privileges of stardom to dedicate his life to a nobler mission - discovering and nurturing young talents. He is a spiritual father, friend, and mentor to his students, combining the warmth of human relationships with professional theatrical education, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who have learned under his guidance.

We at Kan YaMa Kan are excited to embark on a new artistic journey, producing our very first indie film, written by our talented alumni, Firas Nassar and Louis Massi. Our mission is to create a nurturing space where young artists can flourish, empowering their creative visions and supporting emerging talents in acting, writing, and directing.
